HOUSTON, TX — It is with deep sorrow that friends and family announce the passing of Brittany Ann Hildebrand, who died unexpectedly on October 16, 2025 at the age of 34.

Brittany was born on July 9, 1991 in Houston and quickly made a name for herself through her athleticism, academics and equestrian achievements. She graduated from Episcopal High School in 2010, then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University in 2014, where she also won the Athletics Scholar Award. She competed on the Aggies equestrian team for five years and captured two national championships.

In 2023 Brittany completed her MBA in Marketing from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. Her professional career spanned roles at Memorial Park Hunters, Great Southwest Equestrian Center, Explore Logistics and Hilington Farms in Wellington, Florida, where she served in management and operations roles.

Brittany’s presence was described as magnetic and full of life — her “warm, welcoming smile that came straight from the heart” lit up every room she entered. Her friends recall her booming laugh, her genuine attentiveness and her ability to make people feel seen and valued.

She is survived by her parents, Mindy and Jeff Hildebrand; her brothers, Jeffery D. Hildebrand, Jr. and John Thomas Hildebrand; her maternal grandmother Pat Budinger; and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents Jean-Paul Budinger, Dr. Thomas Glenn and Ruth Ann Hildebrand.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors in Houston. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brittany Ann Hildebrand Fund for ADHD Prescription Reform — a cause dear to Brittany’s heart.
